He doesn’t want to be the loner egg head anymore. He wants to be accepted by his peers rather then the teachers. Because isn’t that what everyone wants, but never really gets in high school. Also it’s very self serving to want to fit in. Also wanting to fit in not something Fanboy would want to tell Kyra because she is a person that really doesn’t care what others think about her.
