The third thing that Fanboy wants more than anything else in the world, and the one thing that he wouldn’t tell Goth Girl he wants, is that he wants his parents to get back together. He strongly desires this, but also feels rather selfish wishing for it because his mom does seem pretty happy with the “Step-fascist.” Despite this though, he still wants it because then he could go back to his old neighborhood, friends, and to the way things were. Fanboy could live in a house with Dad again, who he feels understands him better than Mom.
