Contest Entry…

The third thing Fanboy wants isn’t something he can buy. He wants to be someone he’s proud of; someone he can look at in the mirror and really, truly like. He wants to be the hero of his own story, to understand other people, to be the sort of person that he feels it worth looking up to. He wants to be a genuinely good person. But he doesn’t realize he’s already right where he wants to be; he’s already this wonderful person. So he’ll keep wanting that third thing until he finds out he’s had it the whole time.
