I think it should be totally new actors. Maybe the mother could be like a famous actress but Kyra and Donnie should be new actors to the acting world. And please don’t make them like 24.. they should actually be like 15 or 16.. I hate when actors are alot older than the character they are playing.. its not convincing. If you do have additions for this movie please PLEASE come to Canada. I know tons of amazing stage actors and actresses that would do an amazing job.. including me haha. But please for Kyra.. She has to have a lip peircing, nose pericing, black hair and the reversed smiley face. If you get like Emily Browning to play her like I saw in a video, she has to get an appearance change. I’m not saying Emily is bad, I loved actually loved Series Of Unfortuinate Events the movie but i see her as more of a soft gental person. We need a real gothic jerk for Kyra. Like seriously we can’t have an actor whos all gental. THATS NOT KYRA! and please for Dina, don’t make the person playing her like a 25 year old model. Make her a cute average girl. And Barry Lyga.. Please be part of the movie. Make sure it is like the book, I hate movies that are not at all like the book. I really want this movie to be good and not suckly like most movies. This is my favourite book ever and I want the movie to replace Sweeny Todd. And for the step father, don’t make him someone who looks like, I’m thinking like tough, square chin, tall, brown hair. Havn’t shaved for a while. Well you get the idea. Anyways.. good luck on the movie and the book

i don’t think it would be right for any big stars to be in this movie. I just think there should be big auditions to find teenage actors and actresses. Kyra is suppose to be practically invisible to the people around her, as well as fanboy. and it would just shatter the image if it was a well-know star for either characters.

Paul Dano from LMS. Yes yes yes. He’s got the skinny, pale guy thing working.

Alexis Bledel as Kyra? She’s pale, has striking eyes, dark hair and a beautiful chesty.

As Dina, maybe Arielle Kebbel?

But all in all, the characters are best when they’re nobodies in showbiz.

For the role of Kyra, I think Emma Watson should be cast. As for Donnie, I think Christopher Mintz-Plasse would suffice nicely. As for any other character, there should only be small-time actors and actresses. But, just to put out there, I think they shold just cast completely new people. I may sound conceited, but I think I would make a an excellent Kyra. We have a lot in common.
