On Sunday, January 21, Barry spoke and signed books at the Contemporary Art Museum in Houston, Texas. The event was a blast — a standing room only crowd, some of whom were teens dressed in costumes to celebrate an exhibit of comic book art from local budding artists. (Barry’s favorite? Banana Man, who acknowledged that he does, in fact, have all the powers of a banana — “I peel like nobody’s business” — but also bruises very easily.)
