"...sharply authentic....Fanboy's whip-smart, often hilariously sarcastic voice skillfully captures a teenager's growing self-awareness, and adds fresh, urgent perspective to age-old questions..."

USAToday *Hearts* Fanboy

So, USAToday has chimed in on the Fanboy phenomenon, courtesy of a round-up of the fall’s young adult titles written by none other than Pop Candy blogger Whitney Matheson. Four books were chosen by Ms. Matheson for her round-up, and The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl is one of ’em! (We’re in good company, too, including John Boyne and Stephanie Meyer!)

Go buy a copy of the September 28, 2006 edition and check out the Life section or read it online here.

What you failed to mention is that out of the group of YA books Whitney reviewed, FB&GG was UP TOP and the ONLY review that featured cover art. She also blogged you and said that of the group she reviewed FB&GG was her fave.

Not bad for a comic book geek. 🙂

We here at FanboyandGothGirl.com are too modest to mention that.

Fortunately, BJ does it for us. 🙂
